March

Was not a great reading month for me.

First book I read in March was Hope by Rhian Ivory, this book was ok and it spoke about a topic I haven’t read about before, but it wasn’t really a memorable read otherwise.

I finally read The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas! I can’t believe it took me so long to read such a powerful, hard hitting book.

Disclaimer by Renee Knight and Fear Itself by Jonathan Nasaw were my next reads, I had to skip a lot of Disclaimer due to its subject matter (I blogged about this a few posts ago, if anyone wants to know more of my thoughts – r*pe trigger warning). Fear Itself was pretty good but due to it being an older book used outdated and uncomfortable language.

The last book I read was The Truth About Keeping Secrets by Savannah Brown and I loved this one. Savannah has so much talent it is incredible to watch her progress, and her debut YA book is magnificent.

And yep, I’m aware we’re now in the middle of April and I’m only just posting this. Oops.
