Was not a great reading month for me.
Sydney’s dad has tragically died and Syd isn’t convinced it was an accident. In a town where everyone knows eachother and there’s unexpected faces at his funeral, what really happened that night?
Can you imagine being just 14 years old and returning home from school to discover that your family have been deported? Diane lived in fear of this, but always hoped it would never happen. In this book, she tells her story. The story of how she coped and survived and built a life for herself against all odds after her nightmare came true.
Long time, no set TBR! As of Thursday morning, I’m travelling to various cities in the UK to see one of my favourite bands Holding Absence. I’m not bringing any paperpack books so needed space won’t be taken up and also to not have my luggage weigh me down, so I created a collection on my Kindle of books I’d like to read in this time.
Since my last update, I’ve read Disclaimer by Renee Knight and Fear Itself by Jonathan Nasaw.
New Years Eve: 15 year old Alex’s sister Olivia never returns from a party.
The missing person investigation isn’t moving as quickly as Alex would like, so she begins searching for clues herself to find what has happened to her sister.
As you probably noticed, I’ve been pretty quiet on here still. So aswell as listing the books I read this month, I wanted to talk about that!
